My Students

My students are great learners and friends. Our small community allows for students to be lifelong friends starting in Kindergarten. The students engage in their learning and enjoy helping teach and being role models for other kids in the school.

Our school supports students to expand pass the standard of the lesson into deeper concepts.

As educators we try to give students a variety of tools to help them succeed. As a staff we continually research and develop new methods to engage and teach our students.

My Project

My students need fitness trackers that will provide accurate real time data to them about their physical activity. They will use the trackers and the iPad to collect data and display it back to other students. Students will graph the data we collected with the fitness trackers so they can see how active they are. They will be used in both P.E. and Health classes so students can see the importance of physical activity.

These trackers will instill healthy habits and have a lasting impact on my students.

Students will better understand how exercise impacts them through analyzing their heart rate and step counts. The goal of these is to guide students into making more active choices in their lives, both at home and at school.
