My Students

Nearly all my students are from low‑income households. My students deserve to use equipment that they would otherwise never have the opportunity to use. I teach both regular education PE/Wellness and Life Skills PE classes.

There are several needs for each student, and providing the best equipment will allow them to look forward to PE class and have even more motivation and determination for leading a healthy life.

My Project

We are moving into a new school, which has a new weight room, gymnasium, and wellness room. As of now we do not have any equipment to fill the new weight room and are hoping to give students the best equipment to take their fitness to the next level.

This donation will allow our department to have a timer in each room for each class.

They will allow us to successfully run our fitness lessons and avoid confusing whistles or yelling during each class.

This new weight room, gymnasium, and wellness room has given us the opportunity to give our students the best equipment and the best lessons possible. These timers will allow us to teach a variety of workout and fitness intervals. We will be able to introduce the students to the various types of workouts with timers, while also running a safe class. Again, these timers will avoid the whistle blowing, yelling when it is time to change, etc.

This donation will not only allow students to transition and be safe in class, but it will also allow them to learn about the various types of fitness workouts, timing, etc. Our students deserve structure and the ability to expand their knowledge with the best equipment.
