Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school didn't have a PE system last year, and as a first year teacher, it is my duty to ensure that my students receive physical education and get the best out of my class and my teaching.

My Project
My students need sufficient physical education equipment such as the tennis net, baseball gloves, and badminton rackets so I can teach them these (tennis, softball, and badminton) units. By getting these items, it will help lessen my equipment needs and introduce to them certain sports that they have not been exposed to in a physical education setting. By providing these resources, it will improve the quality of class where the equipment is new and not limited to only a few groups of students. With sufficient and new equipment, my students can enjoy what I have to offer and teach them. I want to be the best PE teacher I can be and I'm going to need the tools to become that.
My goal is to start and continue a successful and productive PE department where all the students will enjoy going to my class and be active.
I feel this is so important so the school, staff and students see the importance of physical activities and the benefits it can provide the school.
