This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The fitness center at our school, and like many other, is severely outdated. The equipment is rusted and broken which causes a huge safety issue for the students and creates less opportunities for students to be physically active. In order to ensure the students are utilizing the fitness center to the best of their abilities, this project with help to provide new and updated fitness equipment. New equipment will help create more diverse opportunities for students to understand physical fitness and become physically active. Having an early understanding of physical activity will allow for students to sustain it throughout their lives.
