My Project
After several years teaching special education, I’m beginning my first year as a PE teacher and I couldn’t be more excited. My goal is to build a PE program that helps students grow not just physically, but also socially and emotionally. I want my students to gain confidence, work together as a team, and learn how to communicate effectively, all while staying active and having fun.
To make that happen, we need to update some of our essential equipment.
Much of what we currently have is worn out or outdated, and replacing these materials will help students stay safe, engaged, and successful in class.
With the right tools, I can create a positive and inclusive space where students are motivated to try new things, support one another, and discover the joy that comes from sports and fitness.
