Fishing For Our Future

Help me give my students a Lew's American Hero baitcaster and tackle bag to help them start off on the right foot.

My Students

Nothing beats the bending of a fishing pole on a spring day. We are a small country school and started a bass fishing team two years ago. Our program has doubled in size in just those short two years.

However, some students can't participate due the financial burden of buying fishing equipment.

We are a low-income school and do not receive any financial help from our school district. Students are required to pay all entry fees along with supplying their own fishing equipment.

My Project

Many anglers join the bass fishing team but their equipment is old and not in proper working order. It's usually hand-me-downs from others with old line on it.

A new Lew's American Hero can help make those first tournaments more successful with proper working equipment.

A new tackle bag can help keep their hooks and lures secure. Everyone needs to feel they have the best set-up to compete at a competitive level.

I want every angler to feel they can go out there and be successful no matter the amount of money their families have invested. The sound and feeling of that first fish on the end of the line is priceless.
