My students need these math materials to help them get ready for kindergarten. The fishing math centers will provide fun and engaging games to help them practice the skills they need to get ready for kindergarten.
My students are 4 year olds who come to school ready to start building the foundations of their learning. I have a morning and afternoon session which means I teach 40 students with different interests and abilities. They are eager to explore and learn in many different ways even though many of them don't speak English.
The students make every minute count and they are becoming life long learners on the road to reaching their dreams.
Their school day is only 3 hours so they need to get the most of every learning experience I can offer them.
My VPK students are entering the last quarter of the school year! They need to work hard on getting ready for kindergarten while still having fun.
Fishing for Early Math Skills will help them develop their pattering, sorting, and counting skills.
These are the building blocks of their math knowledge. The fishing games will help with counting, sorting, and patterning. The magnetic maze and the giant number skills will help them learn how to write the numbers correctly. My students will use these materials during small groups and independent centers.
Kindergarten is right around the corner for my students. Help them get a great start by donating to my project, Fishing for Early Math Skills!
