My Students

My class come from all kinds of backgrounds. I have students who have very little home support, and those are have two supportive parents, and all areas in-between.

My class has active kids that love to learn, explore and discuss what they are learning.

First grade is such an important grade for learning to read and do math. We love to incorporate as many hands-on opportunities as possible. Teaching first grade is rewarding and seeing the growth in our first grade friends is amazing each year.

My Project

My firsties need these to help them be able to wiggle while still being engaged in our small group instruction. When students are able to move more freely, they are able to focus on their learning.

These wobble seats will also encourage students to sit up and focus on the task at hand rather than slouch in their seats.

With the addition of these wobble stools, my students can choose a type of seating. That allows them choices so they can feel independent and in charge of their personal learning. I feel these wobble seats will really lead to some personal success for a variety of learners.
