This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having all these math manipulatives would greatly help my students learn and have an engaging learning experience. First graders still require a lot of hands on experiences where they can be able to understand better concepts.

These additional resources will make a difference in a student's learning experience, where we move away from traditional paper and pencil to learning as a form of play.

As an educator who has seen first hand what it is like to live in a household where such resources were difficult to obtain, I know what struggles my students' parents could be going through to provide what their children need. That is why I look for your support in creating a fun and engaging learning environment for my students.
