My students need organization in their classroom to be successful. We will start with storage containers for books, supplies, as well as small items for them to use on a day to day basis.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been given the opportunity to start my first year of teaching at a wonderful school with a very diverse population of students. As a first year teacher I am excited to welcome each new face into my classroom beginning in August, but need help getting started.
As a first year teacher there are tons of items I need to help my students succeed.
What I know is that these students deserve the best education they can get and I hope to get that started with supplies. I never want a student to worry about being unable to provide the supplies needed for a lesson. I can't wait to start this year with the books and supplies necessary to help my class learn and grow together!

My Project
The materials and supplies I have for my first year of teaching do not have a home yet. That is why I am requesting the necessities to keep my classroom organized. I know many students struggle to stay organized themselves, so with my example I hope to help teach my students that being organized is easy!
By donating to my project you will help students not only stay organized but also to help them focus on their learning day in and day out.
White boards are a great way to help students learn and try many different examples in a short amount of time. That is why I am requesting a few different types of white boards. Some that can be used as clipboard to be taken around the room, and some that can be used with papers to help with many lessons. The white containers will be used as book storage around the classroom. The drawer set is so students are able to easily get extra needed supplies on their own. The large drawer set is for turning in all the students work. A pencil sharpener so no pencils ever go unsharpened. A label maker to make sure everything is in its correct place. Velcro so we can hang all student work on the walls. Chart tables so we can learn a lesson and immediately place that on the wall for review and a timer to keep students on track. All of these items will help my students stay focused and tidy for learning.
Thank you for considering my project, I cannot wait to impact so many young lives.
