My Students

My students are intelligent, creative, and fun-loving kids. They come from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, and many of my students are learning how to speak English at school in addition to their home languages. I teach pre-kindergarten, and our classroom is often my students' first exposure to an educational environment. As a first-year educator at a Title I, school, my goal is to create a classroom community that is welcoming, inclusive, and empowering to help my students grow to be the best individuals they can be.

We are transitioning from distance learning to in-person learning very soon, and I'm getting my classroom ready to welcome students.

As a new teacher, I want to give my students the best learning opportunities I can. My students will love learning with these materials, and they will be wonderful additions to our classroom!

My Project

Students learn best through hands-on, experiential learning. The materials I have chosen will help further my students' understanding of our curriculum through hands-on experiences and play. Play is essential for my students and helps develop their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength.

Therefore, by donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement and understanding, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

With materials such as board games, pretend play costumes, puzzles, musical instruments, and painting supplies, my classroom will be an exciting and adventurous place for my students. These materials will help foster student relationships, and nurture their sense of social and emotional development.
