Help me give my students a listening center, a wobble chair, and a storage cart to not only keep our room organized but also aid in their learning through listening to reading and using hands on manipulatives!
I teach 26 wonderful kindergarteners at a public school in Saginaw, MI. Over 50% of our students receive free or reduced price lunch. I am in my first year of teaching and am in need of several classroom supplies to support the learning of my wonderful kids!
My students show up every day full of energy and excitement.
They love being at school and interacting with one another. School is a safe place for them and I strongly believe in creating a warm welcoming environment for them. They are eager to learn and I am hoping these supplies will aid in that!
My Project
Several of these materials will help to keep my kindergarten classroom organized, helping give my students more autonomy.
Other materials I have chosen will go directly to my students for work time.
Many of my parents were unable to bring in school supplies at the beginning of the year so we are starting to run low on a lot of items.
The listening center I have chosen will be an important station that each student goes to to listen to stories and answer questions about what they heard. This specific one will allow 5-6 students to plug in headphones at once and listen together. Listening to stories aloud is crucial in learning to read!
