This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goals with this project is to hopefully accumulate some last minute things to help me curate my first year teaching classroom! I am an excited and eager educator and cannot wait to start designing my future classroom.
From the little things on my list such as markers, paper, etc.
- to the bigger things such as furniture, the desk, the vacuum - every item on the list would play a part in helping my classroom dreams come true!
I cannot wait to keep fostering my passion for the world of education! The colored pencils, markers, and etc. are of course necessities for students to practice and complete projects in any classroom. I have included some games within this project as well - I have a few already but have found games a great way to have students interact with each other and develop relationships with each other rather than finding solace on their screens.
Things on this list such as paper, paper clips, stickies, index cards, Clorox wipes, folders, and etc. all relate to the simple ideas surrounding organization within my class. Any classroom that is going to be curated into a safe space is going to start with the foundation of organization.
