My Project

As a first year teacher I need your help to create a classroom environment that supports learning and routine through organization and hands on activities. Using whiteboards is a daily occurrence, and it is importantly that every student has access to these materials. We use them in all subjects to check for understanding and work through guided practice. The organizational structure in this list, like the shelves, stackable boxes, and carts, will be used for supplies and manipulatives. When students can follow a routine and know where their materials are, they can have more autonomy over their environment and independence from the teacher. This relieves teachers from constantly tending to these small needs and allows them to focus on instruction, small group time, and conferencing with students without interruptions. This list is filled with things that would help me be successful in my first year of teaching and I appreciate your contribution!
