This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am currently teaching a TK- Kinder class. Yes, a combo class! At this age, they are super funny, kind, and most of all energetic! It is not my first year teaching the littles. Let me tell you... I have stories to tell. Even on the most difficult days, they can make me smile with their innocence.

My students are part of a low-income community.

Some parents have two jobs to make ends meet. My parents are always willing to help and cooperate not only with their own kids but helping other students, as well. Throughout the years, my kiddos have shown how helpful they are because of the example they have at home.

My Project

As a teacher, we must find materials that support our student's learning. At times, the materials are content we find in other websites that must be downloaded. For that reason, copies are needed every week. Interactive notebook activities, projects, homework, classwork, and parent letters is typically what I print on a regular basis.

Ink is important to make those copies in the classroom.

Without those copies, my kindergarteners will not have the necessary tools to continue learning. The materials printed, are used at home and at school. It's a vital part of my classroom. Help me continue providing the necessary tools for my students.
