We thank you and send our blessings for your support!\r\n The math magnetic poster has supported my students in thinking of mathematical strategies that will prepare them for testing, assessments, and daily math tasks. They include a variety of strategy types to help them solve related math problems.\r\n The magnetic posters for the Draw & Write activities have allowed my students to look at model samples for writing in order for them to complete their tasks. These resources have afforded me the ability to leave the posted samples for pupils who need extra allotted time to complete a task at their learning level.\r\n The pencils and lead pencil refills have helped my hardworking students so much because they don't have to stop their thought process in order to sharpen their pencils. They are able to get up quietly and quickly to retrieve a refill at their convenience.\r\n We would like to thank you once again for contributing to our cause in order to make our pupils ready to complete their mathematics and writing tasks with the use of the wonderful resources that your philanthropic hearts have provided to our little ones. They have also been using the headphones for reading comprehension time which allows them time to practice achieving 3rd grade reading standards by facilitating interactions with real-time feedback. If you knew my students like I do, you would totally fall in love with my little angels. Once we began to open the newly arrived boxes of resources my students and I began to scream and yell with emotions of elation. Their heartfelt emotions of gratitude were evident on their little glowing faces filled of love and excitement while we were opening each package. I was taken aback when I saw all of the happiness and commotion all around me. It filled them with pure bliss to know that our philanthropist are alive and well all around us and watching over us with. We immediately began to use the new resources in our small MATH and ELA groups. I loved utilizing the magnetic double-sided teacher board for modeling new information. They were so grateful to be able to use our new Lakeshore giant magnetic base ten blocks, PaperMate mechanical pencils, Tipken mechanical pencil refills, the five small double-sided magnetic student white boards, magnetic erasers, and the Foozzilla magnetic alphabet letters for blending and segmenting sounds. This has helped my students to use physical realia to acquire new learning in a total physical response manner, which supports faster dendritic connections. One of my students stated that she would like to be able to grow up and be wealthy enough to become a philanthropist herself. She very much enjoyed playing with the STEM magnetic building blocks during Fun Friday time,(which help to stimulate children's dendritic connections). So, thank you once more for your altruistic endeavors in fulfilling the our request for these resources. Your actions will have a great impact on our student learning and creativity. We have been using the resources on a weekly basis to mostly write about opinion, informational text types and narrative comprehension responses from our curriculum. I would like to share with you a moment when one of my students stated that she would like to grow up and be a writer/director shortly after we were visited by a children's book author.\r\n My talented student created her very own narrative that she was able to bring to life from her Draw and Write Journal during our Writer's Workshop time. She decided to take my recommendation to write about a comedy/horror type narrative in order to hook the readers. She was then able to take her story and make it into a short film with the help of her teacher and family. You are making it possible for her to realize her ambitions and dreams of pursuing that end goal during her 2nd year of school. So amazing, don't you think? Well she was able to inspire the rest of the class to continue to use their voice and words by using their Draw and Write journals. Now we are using the them to publish scientific information text types that will help our students to love and respect their earth. The children are truly loving their writing experiences.
