This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am beyond excited to grow with my group of Firsties and continue on this wonderful and rewarding journey of being an educator! My kiddos love to explore and create! They are all so special and are always eager to learn and try new things. My goal is to continue making learning as fun and efficient as possible for them.

It is so important for my students to feel safe, welcomed, engaged, and happy in their classroom.

I want to provide them with plenty of opportunities to excel academically and personally. This project will help my students feel excited about being in school (regardless of whether it be in-person or online).

My Project

This project will help my students have access to a selection of diverse and engaging books. It is extremely important to build a classroom library that has a variety of books to choose from. My hope is to have a library full of books that represent a variety of interests, reading levels, and topics for my students to choose from.

I know that my students will be so excited to see a large variety of relatable, diverse, and engaging books in their classroom!

They will be eager to dive into these stories. I plan to use these books for Read Aloud Time online, and will create personalized book bins for each of my students to have once they return to school.
