This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we have a growing band program of talented and passionate students. Our program is starting to play harder music, however we are lacking a lot of the needed instrumentation.

Our students each rent their own instruments.

Tubas cost over $100 a month to rent. Because of this cost in a low income area, we are not able to obtain a tuba.

We are looking for a donation of a tuba so our interested students can play this instrument at no cost. This would allow us to play more music, and to sound better as a whole.
