My Project
As a first-time teacher in a new classroom, this rug will contribute to the overall environment and atmosphere of the learning space that I wish to create for my students.
I want our classroom to be safe, fun, inviting, and to stimulate learning. This rug will help achieve all these criteria.
The purpose of the rug is to have small and large group activities. My students and I come to the rug not only to learn, and enjoy read-aloud stories but also to share social-emotional feelings during our morning meetings!
