This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Surface Pro tablet will allow more students to compete in the FIRST LEGO League competition. We want to give all of our students the opportunity to further their knowledge of basic engineering design and programming, problem-solving, and building.

We want to prepare our students for a future of STEAM- related fields.

The Surface Pro tablet will be used to program the robot using the Spike Prime software. It will also help them with their research project which is one of four categories in this competition. The laser printer will allow us to print out our students' coding projects. The folding tables and carts will be used to display our LEGO projects. We want to inspire as many students as possible in our Robotics Program. Our population consists of students with disabilities as well as English Language Learners (ELL). We do not want to turn down any students due to lack of technology.
