My Students

I will be looking at a room full of 22 excited, anxious little faces starting on September 7th! This is my second year as a lead teacher and I can't wait to meet my students. I work in a Title I school where 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. They deserve the best materials and resources in their classroom! I want school to feel important and exciting for them every day. When they walk into their classroom everyday, I want them to feel at home!

My Project

Last year, I was a first-year teacher and I put a lot of effort into collecting books, manipulatives, and other supplies for my classroom. Going into my second year, my classroom needs organization for these tools and materials! My dream is to have an inviting classroom library where students feel ownership of everything and understand how to access it. I would also love to have a shelf where all of our math manipulatives are organized and easy for students to access while solving math problems. A classroom timer and sand timers will help students manage their time.

All of these supplies will help my classroom be more organized and easy to manage by both myself and my students!
