My class of first graders are highly motivated to learn and explore the world around them. My class is full of students who try their best every day at school. They are excited and energetic about life and learning!
My students are thinkers, creators, and problem solvers!
In my class we are working towards learning how to take control of our own education and being brave enough to do something different. We also are striving to help ourselves and others to problem solve each day!
We do these things with integration of technology, visual art and music!
My Project
By having an Apple TV and stand, I will be right there with my students through the learning process! I will be able to sit up front with them as I am teaching a lesson, which will help my students engage in active listening.
With an Apple TV, my students will be fully engaged in learning the curriculum.
This will allow my students to be involved in effective and interactive lessons.
My first graders also need hands-on learning experiences and by integrating art and music into my teaching, I can teach to the whole student. Students can collaborate in their learning. Early learners benefit from a variety of learning opportunities.
Music and art is a gateway for students to learn to think more deeply about concepts. Singing promotes language development, therefore with the use of musical instruments their literacy skills and oral development will be accelerated.
