Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our first graders have spent a lot of time creating their own stories. They are learning how to write a beginning, middle, and end of stories as well as a problem and a solution. They are learning how to add detail. They have been working so hard on their stories. In May, we will be having an Author's Tea with their families. They will get to come in and see what their child has been doing in writing! We want to laminate their stories and bind them so they can keep them forever!

They can be proud of what they did on their own!!

They will be able to read it over and over and to others!

Please help me make their stories beautiful!!
