This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Who doesn't love books! This year my first graders are loving learning how to read. The non-fiction and fiction decodable books are great for my students as they are learning how to read. They can feel confident as these books are engaging and the text is at their level. The other books are read aloud books I would use in class for the variety of different phonics skills they are learning. I have a couple of books by the same author and the connections it helps me make when learning these phonics skills is huge. These books would be a great addition to my classroom.
