My Project
Your generous donations will help to fuel the learning of my amazing first grade students! Snacks are a huge part of our day. In our schedule, we eat lunch early in the day and need an extra boost to keep up our energy for learning in the afternoon. My class is made up mostly of immigrant students who can not afford snacks.
Giving my students snack choices is a way to help them be successful in their daily activities.
We would love some Goldfish crackers and fruit snacks.
It is hard to learn and think when you are focused on being hungry. By providing our students with snack options during the day we are giving them the opportunity to refuel and recharge and be ready for our next adventure!
We know that students cannot begin to learn without their basic needs being met. I want to make sure my students are their best selves each day. My students are very eager to learn and hard workers. Here's hoping that snacks are a great start to enhance learning and remaining on task!
