This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student is special in their own way. Some are funny, silly, loving, caring and some come to school to be loved and that makes them so special to me. COVID-19 has impacted everyone worldwide. As a teacher, it impacted me tremendously. I had to learn many new ways in order to teach my students virtually. I had to improve my technology skills and learn how to use programs I had never heard of such as webex for example. The resources selected will be used by students in order to help them enjoy their time at school. This will help them be able to have materials to color their worksheets, have extra pencils and use headphones when using their iPads. What first grader does not like to color, glue or even paint. Learning can be so much fun and these materials would allow that for my students.
