First Grade Scholars Interact with Mr. Whiteboard!
Help me give my students a print-rich classroom and rich learning opportunities where scholars can reach the board and be interactive with reading, writing, and math.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are scholars!!! They know how to focus on their learning and work hard. They are WILD ABOUT READING and learning reading strategies to become lifelong readers and develop a love for it. They want to be authors one day like their teacher and publish their own book!
My Project
My goal is to engage scholars in conversation and curriculum. This new easel will assist us in shared reading, reading and math fluency, writing, poems, Math Talks, songs, and presentations. This new easel will allow all of my students to engage equally and at their eye level. This new easel will allow my scholars to share their thinking and knowledge! The magnetic feature will allow them to build words and math equations and show evidence and put THEM in the driver's seat of their learning. They will LOVE to interact with “Mr. Whiteboard!”
