My Students

Currently, I teach first grade at a low income, high needs elementary school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our school values are learning, family, and fun.

Every day my goal is to embody those values and bring them to life in my classroom.

I want my students to have quality learning experience no matter what other obstacles we may encounter. I truly love teaching and I am forever grateful for donors like you!

My Project

I have requested items to help restock the supplies I know I will need mid-year in my first grade classroom. The dry erase Expo markers will be used by students in completing activities on white boards in my classroom. Students will each receive a figit toy to use in our classroom during learning or when they need to take a break. I have also requested anchor chart/post it paper, I use these to create visual anchor charts to help my students learn, they hang up the best in my classroom. At times students will create their own anchor charts to help their learning. Lastly, I have requested 3 headphones for students who are in need of headphones to use with their iPads during our technology block.
