My Students

My students are curious—about everything! Reading has become a love for them and, as a teacher, I am so proud. They love books and are always asking for more! Learning how to read has become a high priority for them and for being first graders, that's amazing! I am so lucky to be their teacher.

My Project

These books will help my students to expand their horizons with reading. Books about kindness, weather, community helpers, our solar system, funny stories, magical stories... these will all be for my students' benefit and use. They are always asking where they can find more books and I would love for my classroom library to be filled to the brim with books they will love. I have tried to share my love of reading with every one of them and to hear how much they are beginning to love it gives me hope for their future educational career. All of these books will give them the opportunity to become better readers and better learners overall.
