My Project

First grade should be a fun and engaging time for young students. They are so lively and energetic. One of the things that is so important is classroom decor.

A classroom environment can set the tone for learning.

Students spend so much time in their classroom. I want to change up our environment by switching to a new classroom theme. I am aiming to create a fun and encouraging learning environment for my kiddos. The goal is to create a happy space where students feel welcome. I'm sure they will feel happy when they see all the smiley faces and rainbows. These different resources will not only boost engagement, but will also help them learn. The classroom rug can be used for "carpet" time. Each student will have their own smiley face. This will help them stay in their own area which will keep them focused. Another thing that will help keep them focused on learning will be the privacy folders. The items such as the posters and calendars will help them learn valuable skills. There are a ton of amazing things that can come from this change.
