My Project

Next school year, I am planning on moving to first grade from fourth grade. My project will help me provide lessons to help my students develop the skills they need to become proficient readers. The Word Mapping Boards will provide practice with connecting letters and sounds to words. Write and wipe boards will help my students in using the skills that we are learning. We can use them during whole group, small group, and even one-on-one with students. Power Pen Reading skills sets will help students work on their skills during centers or at their desks.

By helping with this project, you are helping me to provide practice with words that my first graders will need to develop their reading skills.

My goal is to help my students to grow as readers and to help them understand sounds and words. Students at my school are wonderful kids who work hard to learn the skills they need to be good readers. I want to be there to help them to succeed and this project will help me with this goal.
