Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is a title 1 school, meaning majority of my students live in poverty. A lot of my students are either new comers or bilingual. The chairs would allow them to move around in their spot as they focus on the task at hand! I have a lot of students that like to wiggle or stand to do their work and I am not one to limit them on their spots. The toys are for when we have indoor recess. As we live in Nebraska we experience all the weather! The carpet would help brighten up our room so make it a fun environment to learn in! We use our expo markers daily for phonics, math, writing, and even science! As I let all of my students have their own we tend to go through our supply fast.
