Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The first-grade team is excited to host a party to celebrate our students' hard work throughout the year. Students have been practicing writing complete sentences, reading, adding and subtracting numbers within 100, word problems, telling time, communication skills, and many more! Our end of year event will give the students an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents by designing sun visors and creating chalk drawings in addition to some exercise based games. Visors can be used all summer as they rest and transition to second grade. Students will also enjoy snacks with heir grade level peers as they continue to practice their communication and language skills.
