My Students

My students are young, creative, and imaginative; however, some of their imaginations have not yet had the opportunities to grow inside a great book. They are still learning to read and have not yet discovered books that captured their imaginations. This could be the year the magic happens to them.

My students are 6- and 7-year-olds.

They are creative, fun, and intelligent; however, many of them are lacking the resources and opportunities they need to expand their creativity, fun, and intelligence.

My Project

The portable teaching cart will help me stay organized when teaching my students across all content areas. With this resource, I will be able to organize teaching materials like books, anchor chart paper, and other supplies for whole group and small group instruction. In addition, comprehension games will help my students work together to improve their comprehension skills in a fun and positive environment. As first graders, my students are learning to read and comprehend independently. They love to work with their peers, which keeps them motivated to keep improving. With these resources, I know my students will definitely succeed!
