Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my first grade class have an array of reading and math abilities. I truly love how curious and eager my students are. They enjoy actively participating in class and are eager for hands-on activities in math and reading to heighten their skills.

Center time is always the highlight of my students’ day, because they gain self-confidence as they work collaboratively to achieve their learning goals.

My students will love working on their reading and math skills with Splash and Snap It Up card games. They will also enjoy a variety of other materials to engage in small group reading centers with the use of magentic tiles and wands.

With your support, my students will gain access to carefully selected centers and materials so they can continue to achieve their 1st grade goals.
