First Aid in First Grade

My Project

I work at a very large school. It is a three story building that houses grades pk-8th grade. This means we have over 900 students. We only have one nurse who works extremely hard to take care of our students. I like to have a few first aid supplies in my classroom so that I can handle some issues without having to send kids to the nurse.

I would love to have a new thermometer, alcohol prep pads, ice packs, heat packs, and on the go antiseptic spray.

The thermometer I have now is not reliable. I could really use a new one. I added a back up one just in case. Both thermometers take AAA batteries, so I added some of those to this project too. Ice packs have replaced the wet paper towel cure in my classroom. Students are happy to have an ice pack when they get boo boos. I didn't know instant heat packs existed! I thought those would be good for when my students have aches and pains. Lastly, I add an on the go antiseptic spray to bring outside during recess.
