Help me give my students basic supplies to help them succeed. All 6th graders at SMS will enjoy their basics and the extra items for engaging lessons and activities to keep SCIENCE FUN.
This wish list contains basic supplies such as pencils and calculators. Many students come to 6th grade and have never used a calculator that wasn't on their phones. We use these calculators for our density calculations and when we are working on graphing and calculating average speed. A LOT OF MATH in science.
The glow sticks are a fun way to demonstrate chemical changes and get the students engaged.
The binders are to help students who don't have their own. We are building binders for students to take ownership in their work and their grade. Having a binder with vocabulary, data tracking, and work to reflect on will help empower them set achieve higher goals.
