My Students

These students are first grade students located on Air Force base housing with a 100% military population. These students come from all over, and sometimes this is their 2nd or 3rd school in just the few years they've been in school. I want to provide a fun atmosphere for my students that makes them feel welcome and comfortable.

All students should feel safe and welcome in a classroom.

With the students that our school serves, I want to make sure I do just that.

My Project

With the world becoming more digital each and every day, we as teachers are incorporating technology more and more into our lessons. Students are excited about making videos for Youtube and working on tablets instead of paper. Why not allow them to do these types of things in school?

With the SeeSaw app students can create their own digital portfolio!

We are in need of more tablets and protective cases for our class to share to be able to complete more activities digitally. The students love doing things like creating and writing stories to then share digital pictures of them. They love to make videos explaining their learning or teaching a topic to another student. With more Amazon Fire tablets we'll be able to continue working digitally all while keeping the students engaged and learning!
