This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are learning about fire safety in class. My little learners learn best learn through play. These firefighter costumes and fire extinguishers will help students be able to role play being fire fighters and practice how to be safe when a fire is in their home or school. Fires and firefighters can be scary in an emergency, I want my students to not be afraid when they need to be brave. My students will be able to practice what to do in an emergency and will get to take these fire hats home to play with and show their families. Please help aide me in teaching fire safety with these fun items!
