Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are a special group of students who appreciate life and are full of love. Our school is filled with a very loving group of talented middle school students, which molds our students into respectful young adults. In the art room, I have many different learning levels that help round out unique personalities that give students experience with all different types of people in our world.
My students radiate creativity during any art project given to them.
They are self-guided through all projects and respect the materials that are given to them graciously.
My Project
A ceramics program has been absent from our school for years! We are currently installing our kiln and need some help purchasing the little things that make projects pop in clay! The items are everyday tools that we need like glaze and clay tools.
A ceramics program brings meditation and creativity in one fantastic art medium.
A ceramics education for primary school children is a necessity and a desire for any art program. Our students' first project will be a mural with ceramic pieces popping out of the wall. The mural will be created using a pattern like in sewing, but just with clay. We can’t wait to get started!!
