My Students

My students are in grades Kindergarten through 2nd or 3rd grade. This class is a low incidence class with disabilities ranging from Autism to Multiple Disability to Functional Mental Disability. Most of my students are non-verbal or they have limited communication skills.

My Project

These materials will help my students by calming their anxiousness while in school. Technology is a tool that motivates many of my students. I like that these tablets come pre-loaded with educational programs that will help to calm them but also educate them.

I will use the tablets as a reward for completing their classroom assignments, attending to tasks and for positive behavior.

My students will also use the tablets for learning from home when we have snow days, virtual days, or when they are sick. I hope that this project will get funded!
