This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are approaching the second semester of the school year, and we are running low on supplies. We need your help to finish third grade stronger than we started!

I teach an amazing group of third grade, magnet students.

They are enthusiastic, creative, focused, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning. The students attend school in a low-income area. The entire school is on a free breakfast and lunch program.

My Project

The supplies I requested in this project are vital to my class. Glue sticks, white construction paper, and black Sharpies are in limited supply at my school. These materials are used on a daily basis for art and language arts projects. We are also low on HP ink for our color printer. My students and I use the printer to print colored copies for projects, bulletin board displays, and individual writing projects. We are completely out of white paper bags. The bags are used for art projects, organizing materials, and decorated for special appreciation gifts for our parents and school volunteers and staff.

I'm fortunate to be at a school that provides basic supplies such as paper, pencils, erasers, and some art supplies.

Unfortunately, we are lacking in supplies that are essential in my classroom such as glue sticks, white construction paper, Sharpies, white paper bags, and HP ink. We need these materials to continue our program. We appreciate your support and generosity in providing for our needs.
