Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Teaching young boys and girls is fantastic and very rewarding. Most of the children I teach are economically disadvantaged and lack many things. They are a happy-go-lucky bunch of kids.
Despite all that has happened they come to school and strive for excellence.
The children faced many struggles this year and have stayed strong and dedicated to their school work. They come to school with a smile and continue to give their best effort. They are a wonderful bunch of children.
My Project
We are coming up to the final stretch of the school year. The boys' and girls' school supplies are running slim.
Many students have broken pencil pouches so new ones will keep everything in its place.
The color post-its and gel pens are needed so that the children can add fun color to their journals and daily classwork. Their vocabulary and note taking will be color coded using the various markers and pens. Sure writing in black is okay, but writing in red, green, purple, or neon color can add that needed sparkle to daily writing. The post-it are need to mark main ideas and notes in their books.
Various supplies are needed to finish the school year in full color and your kind generosity will enable the children to do just so.
Go ahead and take a chance on a great bunch of children.
