This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me in providing materials that will aid my students on their fine motors skills. Many of our students come from homes where they have never held a pencil, used scissors to cut or even to open and close items. The items I have requested would help in providing this much needed practice that they need.

The dot markers, scissors, scoopers, game and busy boards will be used to help my students develop those small, precise movements that primarily using their hands and fingers, involving coordination of muscles, bones, and nerves.

These skills are crucial for everyday tasks like writing, cutting, eating, and dressing. These materials would be of tremendous aid in helping my students get ready for their learning.
