Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My tiny humans are working on their fine motor skills by improving their eye-hand coordination. This will help them with reasoning skills, problem-solving, and writing. Short markers promote better control to improve handwriting. Stacking blocks and dominos will help them to develop problem-solving skills and teamwork. Squeezing squishy items helps develop arm muscles and a pincer grasp (along with relieving stress and calming themselves). Letter and number assembly puzzles help them learn the shapes of letters and problem-solving skills while improving eye-hand coordination.
Playing with magnets helps students to develop a pincer grasp for writing, cutting, and carrying items.
Improved eye-hand coordination leads to better fine motor skills, which they will need for the rest of their lives. I want my tiny humans to get off to a good start!
