it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I look to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. From the minute they walk through the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential growth.
My students are creative, clever, and want to learn!
I may not be able to control their home lives. However, I can certainly control their experience during the school day by creating a positive, safe environment where they will want to continue to learn and succeed!
My Project
This school year I am so happy to say that we will be fully open and all of my students will be in-person learners! With that said, my littles have spent so much time on iPads that they have missed out on a very important skill, fine motor. This project focuses on all different activities and manipulatives that will help strengthen my students' fine motor skills.
Fine motor skills are the key skill students need to complete so many daily tasks.
The manipulatives that I am asking for in this project will help my students build and strengthen those skills as well as help them get "writing ready".
