My Project
I am an Occupational Therapist in an elementary school working with students K-6. I work with students with a variety of diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, learning disability etc.
In Occupational Therapy, we work on fine motor skills, visual motor skills, visual perception, bilateral coordination skills, and sensory regulation.
In order to develop these skills, as an OT I incorporate toys that are both fun and engaging. The students believe that are playing a game, when in reality they are working on a variety of skills!
The students would be absolutely thrilled to have not only new toys to explore and play with, but options!
