Help me give my students sensory experiences to develop their fine motor skills.
This project expired on June 16, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
The learners in my school come from a wide variety of backgrounds and needs. My class has a large number of students with disabilities and special needs including ESL, speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. These students, along with our regular education students who perform at or above grade level, create a unique learning environment.
Studies show that quality early childhood programming provides children with a great start to their school career.
Our goal is to provide a place to be creative and curious while also learning to be great people!
The new sensory bin fillers will give my students hypoallergenic and washable materials to explore a wide variety of topics in a safe way! These materials also will not invite unwelcome. pests into our classroom.
The sensory table is a favorite spot in our classroom and is adaptable to meet different learning goals throughout the year.
The sensory letters game will give students more practice with fine motor while also practicing identifying and matching letters.
Little learners love to get their hands into some interesting textures. These materials will provide a safe way to do that while still fueling their love of using their hands!
