Help me give my students individual fine motor learning opportunities. All items in this request will help build important hand and eye coordination while having fun.
My pre-kindergarten, varying exceptionality students are a kind and energetic bunch of children. I teach in a Title I school. Most of our children are from single-parent homes. We are a neighborhood school, and I am very proud to teach at our school. The students in my classroom each come with their own way of learning. It is my hope to reach each student and create a love of learning within them. Each of my students deserves the best tools to help them learn.
My Project
Each of these items has been chosen to create individual fine motor activities for my students. I currently have both virtual and face to face students in my classroom. These items will help me create individual tubs for each of my students. The colored sand will make writing trays where students can practice forming letters using their fingers. The garbanzo beans will go into sensory boxes where each student can practice scooping and pouring skills. The stickers will help with hand-eye coordination, strengthening hands, and letter recognition. The Christmas lights will be used in a sensory Christmas box for each student.
