As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school, I try to provide my students with the best age appropriate materials and learning experiences to establish and foster a love of learning at a young age. Teaching Pre-Kinder has its own special sets of challenges, especially finding meaningful ways to keep young minds engaged.
My students are excited to begin their educational journey; their smiling faces, kind hearts, and desire to learn are the reason I love what I do.
My Project
The teaching/learning toys and tools, such as the Create & Design Drill kit and Create a Burger Sequencing Stacker, are designed to improve children's social and fine motor skills through fun and play.
Developing fine motor and social interactions are important parts of growing up.
Pre-K can be a challenge because each new set of kids has a new and specific set of challenges that need to be addressed. This can prove to be problematic when you do not have the necessary materials to help teach the students what they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
